Words cannot describe how much we loved having James as our photographer for both our wedding and engagement shoots! When we stumbled upon James' instagram page, we fell in love with the joy that emanated from his photos, and knew that's exactly the feeling we wanted for our wedding. From start to finish, James was so fun to chat to, passionate about his work, and made us feel at ease in front of the camera. On the day of our wedding, we had so many friends and family compliment James on his friendliness and professionalism, and the fact that he stayed longer than he was supposed to! Our previews (some examples included) by far exceeded our already high expectations, and we are so excited to see the full album when it's ready. Thank you so much James!!

Where do I even begin! James is one of the most incredible photographers. He made us feel so comfortable on our wedding day (especially as two people who feel out of place posing for photos!). He was so kind, caring of others and attentive to detail. We have received our preview photos and are absolutely in love with them! It’s almost like replaying the day over. We look at them on a daily basis, and are so glad we got to share the memories with our friends / family in such a timely manner. During the day we kept getting comments from guests on how much they liked James, he was so good at popping around without them noticing and spoke to each and every person. Speaking of which, what a memory he has. I provided a crib sheet of photos with family names and wedding party. From the moment James arrived he was able to greet each person by name and this made them feel special. James, thank you so much. You are incredible and we could not recommend you more. We hired James to be the photographer for our wedding and we genuinely could not be happier with the results from our special day. James managed to capture the energy, emotion and vibrancy within each and every single one of the pictures he delivered. With both of us being somewhat nervous before our wedding, James' calm demeanor got us into the right kind of mindset for our "getting ready" snaps and helped set the tone for the day. All in all, James showed himself to be an amazing photographer and generally someone who you wouldn't mind having as a friend. James photographed our wedding weekend in October 2025 and we couldn’t have been happier. I had followed James on social media before I was even engaged because his work was so beautiful and I loved how he photographs the little moments and the candid photos he takes felt more natural and romantic. James was an absolute delight to work with from day one. He is incredibly positive, calm and supportive, and all our guests were singing his praises after the event. His photos captured so much emotion and happiness and he is such a joy to have around, always smiling and positive and there for us. He worked really well around the social dynamics of the day and listened to all my questions and concerns. He is also incredibly responsive, communicative and considerate. I only wish he could capture more of our moments in life! I came across James' Instagram page and was blown away by how authentic, beautiful and romantic his photography style was. During our initial chat, my now-husband and I knew immediately that he was the photographer for us. He was so genuine and friendly, and understood our priorities of spending as much time with friends as possible, and ensuring he caught everyone at their most natural. The clincher was knowing that he was experienced at photographing & doing justice to people with very differing skin tones, which was really important to us. James arrived early to our wedding venue to scout it out, and sent us a reassuring messaging on arrival. He quickly made us feel completely at ease in his calming presence, which was really important for us (both novices with a photographer). James has an amazing eye and was able to make very average / seemingly non-special locations appear so special & romantic. He was great with us, and made the whole experience feel very natural, as though we were just hanging out with a friend. Our wedding was very relaxed with a handful of guests, and James felt very much like part of the family. We are convinced that James must have been a ninja in a previous life! He really did melt into the background - so many times we didn't even realise he was quietly capturing highlights as the evening unfolded, particularly at some favourite moments such as when a sweet London bus driver gave us the thumbs up, or when our over-enthusiastic cake cutting meant half the cake collapsed... my hysterical laughter alongside my husband's mortified expression was a sight 😂 Those informal scenes were amongst our favourite memories, and we were really glad James was there to capture them in his special way. There was a significant delay before our meal was served which ate into the time we had booked with him, but James was so kind and understanding about the situation, for which we were eternally grateful and appreciative. James sent us some preview photos within a week, lots more than we imagined - there was going to be a slight delay with the remaining pics, but he communicated this straight away, and was no bother to us considering we had so many great preview ones to tide us over. The final set was beautiful & well worth waiting for - he also kindly included colour versions of any black & white pics, to assuage both mine & my husband's differing preferences. It was truly our privilege to work with James and have him capture our wedding. He was worth every penny, and we have zero hesitation to recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer. Cannot fault a thing from start to finish. James was recommended to us by family, and we’re so glad he was. From our initial call, he showed how much he cared about getting to know us and understanding exactly what we were looking for. On the day, James blended in perfectly, and made sure we were comfortable and having a good time throughout.
